LOGICODE BLUEPRINT

Software Discovery & Solution Planning

From €1,000

Logicode Blueprint is a software discovery phase that turns your business needs into an implementation-ready Pack covering scope, user stories, flows and a practical route forward.

Blueprint overview covering discovery, analysis, specification and handover

What Blueprint does

  • Give an implementation team enough agreed information to build the software correctly, regardless of which technology or implementation provider is ultimately used.
  • Each Blueprint combines structured discovery sessions with analysis, specification and a final review/handover.
  • The customer receives a written Blueprint Pack, not a set of meeting notes.

When a free review is enough

Free initial scope review

  • Understand the business objective and high-level requirement
  • Assess whether Logicode is a suitable fit
  • Identify obvious constraints
  • Determine the next appropriate step

Choose the Blueprint that matches the initiative

The quantities above describe the typical scale represented by each tier. Overall complexity determines the appropriate Blueprint, and broader Complex engagements are quoted accordingly.

What each Blueprint Pack contains

Focused Blueprint Pack

The Focused Blueprint Pack specifies one contained process or capability well enough for an implementation team to build it.

Implementation specification
  • Solution brief
  • Scope definition: in scope, out of scope, assumptions, dependencies and open decisions
  • User roles
  • 1 complete process or user flow
  • Up to approximately 12 implementation user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Relevant non-functional requirements and implementation constraints
  • Requirements for up to 1 external integration or dependency, where applicable
  • Prioritised first-release backlog
  • Implementation estimate*
  • Indicative delivery plan
  • Final Blueprint Pack
Included discovery sessions
  • Discovery session — 1 × 90 minutes
  • Scope validation — 1 × 60 minutes
  • Final handover — 1 × 45 minutes
Solution Blueprint Pack

The Solution Blueprint Pack specifies a complete application or portal, including the screen inventory and structural wireframes needed to reduce implementation ambiguity.

Implementation specification
  • Solution brief
  • Complete scope definition
  • Relevant user roles
  • Up to 3 process or user flows
  • Up to approximately 30 implementation user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Relevant non-functional requirements and implementation constraints
  • Requirements for up to 3 integrations or dependencies
  • Prioritised first-release backlog
  • Implementation estimate*
  • Indicative delivery plan
UX and planning artefacts
  • Screen inventory of the main screens and views
  • Low-fidelity wireframes for up to 5 key screens, showing layout, actions, fields and navigation
  • Release roadmap covering first release, later agreed capabilities and sequencing
  • Final Blueprint Pack
Included discovery sessions
  • Solution discovery — 1 × 90 minutes
  • Process and requirements session — 1 × 90 minutes
  • Scope and wireframe review — 1 × 60 minutes
  • Final handover — 1 × 60 minutes

Wireframes are structural, not finished branded visual design. Functional behaviour such as validations, permissions, notifications and document handling is captured in the user stories and flows.

Complex Blueprint Pack

The Complex Blueprint Pack specifies a larger multi-process initiative and adds the UX artefacts needed to validate the experience before significant implementation investment.

Implementation specification
  • Solution brief
  • Full scope definition
  • Relevant user roles
  • All agreed core process or user flows
  • Cross-process flow showing how major processes hand work and information between one another
  • Implementation backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria for the agreed Blueprint scope
  • Relevant non-functional requirements and constraints
  • Integration and dependency requirements
  • Prioritised release scope
  • Implementation estimate*
  • Phased implementation plan
UX and planning artefacts
  • Complete screen inventory and navigation structure
  • Low-fidelity wireframes covering the agreed core user journeys
  • High-fidelity mockups for up to 5 representative key screens at the starting scope
  • Clickable prototype of one primary user journey
  • Release roadmap covering first release, later phases, dependencies and sequence
  • Enhanced implementation handover for Logicode, internal teams, budgeting, procurement or another provider
  • Final Blueprint Pack
Included discovery sessions at starting scope
  • Initiative discovery — 1 × 90 minutes
  • Process and stakeholder sessions — up to 3 × 90 minutes
  • Solution and scope review — 1 × 90 minutes
  • Prototype review — 1 × 60 minutes
  • Final Blueprint handover — 1 × 60 minutes

High-fidelity mockups show a realistic visual direction. They are not full production UI design for every screen. Broader Complex engagements are quoted according to the discovery scope and can include additional sessions.

* Implementation estimate is provided only when implementation is done by Logicode.

Implementation with Logicode is optional

Purchasing a Blueprint does not commit you to implementing the solution with Logicode. If you choose to continue with Logicode, the Blueprint can become the agreed foundation for the implementation scope and quotation.

Implementation credit

Focused Blueprint can receive a 50% implementation credit (€500) and Solution Blueprint a 50% credit (€1,000) when the subsequent Logicode implementation begins within the agreed validity period. Any credit for a Complex Blueprint is stated explicitly in its proposal.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Blueprint before Logicode can build my solution?

Not always. If the requirement is already sufficiently clear, we can move from the initial scope review toward an implementation proposal. Blueprint is recommended when deeper definition will reduce uncertainty or create a stronger basis for decision-making and implementation.

Will I receive an implementation price?

When implementation would be done by Logicode, each Blueprint includes an implementation estimate for the agreed scope. Where the definition is sufficient, Logicode can also provide an implementation quotation. Complex initiatives may need further decisions before a final fixed quotation is appropriate.

Is any of the Blueprint fee credited against implementation?

Focused Blueprint can receive a 50% implementation credit (€500) and Solution Blueprint a 50% credit (€1,000) when the subsequent Logicode implementation begins within the agreed validity period. Any credit for a Complex Blueprint is stated explicitly in its proposal.

READY WHEN YOU ARE
